How a design gets to the laser

1. Make. In the factory, open a group and press Make the next 10, or press Add to the list and type your own idea (“a sitting fox for an ornament”). Every design comes out as bold black shapes on white, the way the laser likes it.
2. Pick. Approve the ones you like. Redo the rest with a word changed, or reject them. Nothing is spent until you press Make.
3. Download. An approved design comes as two files: a PNG picture and a traced -cut SVG with the cut lines already drawn. Open it big, right-click, Save image as, or open the SVG link.
4. Cut. Open the SVG in xTool Creative Space (or LightBurn), size it to the wood, and cut a test piece first. If a trace looks rough, open the PNG instead and useImage → Trace there.

Practice mode is free. The maker switcher at the top of the factory has a Practice setting that makes placeholder pictures for nothing, so you can learn the buttons before a single cent is spent.
